My Story

I came to massage therapy in 2015, after a two-plus decade career as a motion picture technician, based in NYC and traveling extensively for work. While working in the fast-paced and often stressful film industry, I learned the true importance of self-care and living well in the body via interests such as dance, martial arts, and the internal practices of Qigong, Tai Chi, and Yoga, as well as bodywork services such as massage and acupuncture. After returning to the Boston metro area, and prioritizing family, becoming a mom, and slowing down, I decided it was time for a new career in massage therapy.

I completed my training at the Cortiva Institute, which included Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, and Myofascial techniques and modalities. I have also trained in Prenatal Massage with Elaine Stillerman, Oncology Massage with Tracy Walton, and Hospice Massage with Irene Smith. I was so fortunate to have been embraced into the family that was Inman Oasis in Cambridge early in my new career, where I was encouraged to really explore the craft of massage and develop the style that I have found to be so effective and helpful for many of my clients.

I enjoy taking my time focusing on areas of chronic pain, and, using my deductive skills as a technician, finding the path to alleviate tension, and helping my clients uncover what patterns and habits might be contributing.

Expect to start each session with a brief intake discussion to go over your goals and concerns so that we can decide on the best treatment path for the session. Your input is an imperative part of the process! I look forward to the opportunity to help you live better in your body!
